This bird house is made to attract nesting wrens. Both Carolinian Wrens and House Wrens are common in this area. Their songs are sharp, bright and cheerful. The entry hole is 1 1/8” dia to prevent larger birds from entering. There is no perch to allow preditor birds to feed on the chicks. The house could be hung or fastened to a post . Finished with outdoor stain and clear coat, this house should be a great home for many years. 5 1/2” x 6” x 8 1/2” high.
