Apple Wood Wall or Shelf Vase

This slice of a Granny Smith Apple limb is 8" high 4 1/2" wide, with the exterior coated in shellac and the interior coated with resin.  Backside and bottom are flat allowing for use on a wall or shelf. The sides are highlighted by branch stubs and tracks left by former inhabitants (bugs).
